Why Meesho Combines Label and Invoice

When you process an order on Meesho, the platform generates a single A4 PDF page for that order. The top half contains the shipping label (with the barcode, address, and courier details), and the bottom half contains the tax invoice.

While this is convenient for viewing, it creates a massive headache for warehouse operations. You cannot simply stick an entire A4 page onto a small courier bag. You must separate the Meesho shipping label from the tax invoice.

Should You Keep or Remove the Invoice?

As a seller, you have two choices for handling the invoice portion:

1. Crop and Remove the Invoice (Most Popular)

Most sellers selling non-fragile, low-value items (like clothing) choose to discard the physical invoice entirely. They only print the cropped shipping label (usually on a thermal printer). The invoice remains stored digitally in their seller panel for accounting and GST purposes. This saves paper and speeds up packing.

2. Keep the Invoice Intact (Required for Some)

You might need to print and include the physical invoice inside the package if:

• You are shipping high-value electronics (where physical warranty/invoices are expected by the buyer).
• Your state tax authorities require physical invoices for inter-state transit.
• You maintain physical files for your CA/Accountant.

How to Separate Invoice and Label

Using our Meesho Label Crop Tool, separating the two is a one-click process:

• To Remove Invoice: Simply upload your PDF. By default, the tool will crop out the invoice and give you only the shipping labels.
• To Keep Invoice: Check the "Keep Invoice" configuration box before processing. The tool will retain the full A4 layout so you can print both.

The Magic of SKU Sorting

Whether you keep the invoice or not, packing orders randomly takes too much time. Our tool features intelligent SKU Sorting.

When enabled, the tool reads the SKU code from every label and groups identical items together. For example, if you have 10 orders for a Red T-shirt and 5 orders for a Blue T-shirt, the tool will put all 10 Red labels first, followed by the 5 Blue labels.

Your packing team can pick 10 Red T-shirts from the shelf at once and pack them back-to-back. This cuts packing time in half and drastically reduces "wrong item sent" RTOs.

Sorting by Courier/Pickup Partner

Meesho uses multiple logistics partners like Delhivery, Ecom Express, Xpressbees, and Valmo. Handing a mixed bag of shipments to a pickup executive often leads to packages being scanned by the wrong courier, causing tracking delays.

By enabling Pickup Sorting in our tool, your printed labels will be grouped by courier. You can pack all Delhivery orders together, put them in one sack, and hand them over smoothly.

Batch Processing Multiple Accounts

If you run multiple Meesho seller accounts to target different niches, downloading and cropping PDFs one by one is exhausting. Our tool allows you to upload PDFs from all your accounts simultaneously. It will merge all the labels, sort them globally by SKU, and generate a single master PDF for your packing team.
