How Meesho label PDFs are processed

The PDF is processed in your browser. Here is what the tool sends after a batch and how you can check it.

Architecture Verification • Updated September 2026

1. What is in a shipping label?

A marketplace shipping label can contain personal and order information. Review a sample before sharing it with any tool or support team:

  • Customer Full Name
  • Complete Residential Street Address & Landmark
  • Destination PIN Code and City
  • Customer Mobile Phone Number
  • Item Category & Order Value

Keep the original file in a location your packing team can access safely. When testing a new PDF tool, check its upload and retention policy before giving it a real customer document.

What the Meesho label tool does

The Meesho Label Cropper reads the PDF bytes and page text in your browser to prepare the output. It does not upload the complete PDF file. After processing, a separate request sends a limited batch summary that can include seller name, order IDs, SKUs, counts and chosen options.

2. File processing and usage recording

The browser creates the cropped PDF locally. The usage summary is a different step from file processing. It helps the product record a batch but should not be confused with a claim that the page makes no network requests.

Check any PDF service

Ask whether it uploads the file, what data it logs, and how long it keeps the output. Use its published privacy information and a sample file to verify the workflow.

Seller Analytics Hub label tool

Browser reads the Meesho PDF → creates the output locally → sends a limited usage summary after processing. The PDF file and full page text are not included in that summary.

3. Inspect the network requests yourself

You can inspect a sample batch in your own browser. Use a test PDF with no real buyer information if you are comparing tools:

  1. Open the Meesho Label Cropper in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Brave.
  2. Press F12 (or right-click anywhere and click Inspect) to open Browser Developer Tools.
  3. Click the Network tab at the top and select the Fetch/XHR filter.
  4. Drop your Meesho label PDF into the upload area and click Generate Print-Ready PDF.

Observe the Network log: Look for the /api/label-cropper/track request. Its payload is a batch summary, not the complete PDF. You may also see requests for page assets, analytics or account features. Inspect the request data rather than relying on the total number of requests.

4. Using a previously loaded page offline

Local PDF processing does not mean every part of the website works offline. If offline dispatch matters to you, test the exact browser and device you plan to use:

  1. Load selleranalyticshub.com/meesho-label-tool in your browser.
  2. Turn OFF your Wi-Fi or disconnect your internet cable completely.
  3. Try a non-sensitive sample PDF and confirm that the preview and download complete. Usage recording and other network features will not be available while disconnected.

5. Before sharing a file with support

Remove buyer names, addresses, phone numbers and other unnecessary details from screenshots or sample PDFs before asking for help. For questions about the data recorded by the site, read the privacy policy or contact the team through the support page.

6. Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Meesho label tool upload my PDF file?

The tool reads and processes the PDF file in your browser. It does not send the complete PDF file or full page text to the label analytics endpoint. A separate usage summary is sent after processing.

How can I inspect what the browser sends?

Open browser developer tools before processing a sample PDF, select the Network tab, and inspect requests to /api/label-cropper/track. The request contains a limited batch summary rather than the PDF file.

Can the label tool work without a network connection?

PDF processing takes place in the browser. A previously loaded page may still process a file offline if its required assets are available, but account features and usage recording need a connection. Test your own browser before relying on an offline workflow.

What should I check before using another PDF cropper?

Read its privacy notice and inspect whether the PDF file is uploaded, how long data is retained, and whether a sample output keeps the barcode and address readable.

What usage details are sent after processing?

The label tool can send seller name, order IDs, SKUs, label counts and selected options in a batch summary. It does not send the full PDF file or full page text through that request. Review the current privacy policy for retention and contact details.
